There are moments when it becomes clear that insight alone is not enough.
You may understand your emotional patterns, recognize old wounds, or see how your conditioning shapes your relationships and choices. Yet something essential has not shifted. The same inner movements return. The same sense of effort, seeking, or subtle unease remains.
No amount of analysis will help here. Because true transformation does not happen at the level of content, but at the level from which experience itself arises.
The Meditation Initiation is an entry into that deeper ground. It is a direct, experiential transmission of a meditation practice designed to dissolve the root structure beneath emotional and energetic patterns. Allowing clarity, steadiness, and inner freedom to emerge naturally, rather than being constructed or maintained through endless effort.
Request Initiation
Meditation initiation is not about acquiring another technique to self-improve or manage symptoms. Rather, it is a direct transmission within the Himalayan tradition, intentionally offered one-on-one, in which the practice is received experientially and anchored at the level from which perception, thought, and identity arise.
The emphasis is not on otherworldly experiences but on establishing a living relationship with inner silence. One that gently dissolves habitual patterns at their root and supports a sustained unfolding into clarity, steadiness, and inner freedom.
Certain aspects of meditation, particularly giving a personal mantra, cannot be transmitted through recordings, group settings, or written instruction without losing their potency. In the Himalayan tradition, these elements are taught orally and relationally, through direct initiation. Initiation is not symbolic. It marks an actual shift in how practice functions within you.
What happens during the meditation initiation?
The initiation unfolds as a guided, experiential process lasting approximately 2–2.5 hours, followed by a personal follow-up session after one week of daily practice.
The exchange for this work is $450 for online initiation and $550 in-person (including an extra ceremonial element).
We begin with a short guided practice to settle attention, refine breath awareness, and bring the nervous system into a receptive, attentive state.
You’ll receive clear, grounded guidance on:
what meditation is (and what it is not)
why it is essential for real transformation
posture, timing, environment, and rythm of practice
how awareness is trained without force or suppression
This is shared in a demystified way, while preserving the depth of the tradition.
The practice begins with a specific breath technique designed to:
activate and circulate pranic energy
clear and balance the energetic channels (nadis)
prepare the nervous system for deeper absorption
You’ll receive both:
a physiological explanation (nervous system, brain chemistry)
an energetic explanation (prana, subtle flow)
We then practice it together.
This Kriya is a deceptively simple technique that:
balances and harmonizes the brain function and helps access full brain capacity.
stabilizes the nervous system
creates a fluid, grounded internal state
produces an immediate suspension of compulsive thought
This Kriya was emphasized by Paramahansa Yogananda as a core initiatory practice, capable of accelerating inner evolution in a way that would otherwise take years or lifetimes.
The technique is explained clearly, broken down step by step, and practiced together.
You will then receive your personal mantra.
This mantra:
consists of specific Bija (seed) sounds, originating from the Vedas or the Tantras
is chosen through an initiatory process by a trained initiator
is transmitted orally and never written down or shared with any other person
You’ll learn:
why mantra works at a level beyond meaning
how sound interacts with the nervous system and subtle body
how to work with mantra without strain or repetition-based effort
You will then practice with your mantra independently for 15–20 minutes, allowing it to settle and internalize.
You will be introduced to the Gayatri Mantra and receive a written version.
This mantra is used to:
gently transition out of personal mantra meditation
reorient awareness without abruptness
integrate the practice into daily life
We close the formal practice with setting our intentions in a particular orientation toward the cardinal directions, grounding the practice within lived reality.
Space is held for clarification, questions, and refinement.
After one week of daily practice, we meet again for a private follow-up session.
This space is for:
sharing lived experience
clarifying questions that arise only through practice
refining technique
supporting integration into daily life
This follow-up is essential. Real understanding emerges after practice begins.
For those who feel called to explore this work in a longer, immersive container, Sanctuary of Power also offers retreat-based initiations; spaces where this practice is lived, embodied, and integrated over time.
